It is with sadness that we have to announce that on Tuesday 18 February 2014, Associate Professor Adinda Freudenthal (born 1963) passed away at home in the presence of her family.
Adinda worked at the faculty Industrial Design Engineering, she was friendly, helpful and committed, not only to her work but also to the many master students she helped during their projects. In short a good person who will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts are with Adinda’s immediate family and friends. We also wish to extend our sympathies to Adinda’s colleagues, students and friends here at the faculty.
A memorial space with a book of condolences has been created on the third floor in front of Adinda's office (B32-B-3-160). The book will remain there until Monday 24 February, after which it will be handed to Adinda’s family.
Adinda graduated at our faculty in 1989 and started working at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering of TU Delft on 1 September 1992. Adinda worked at the Design Engineering department and was specialised in the theme “Integration of ICT systems within medical design, with a focus on human factors”. More information about Adinda can be found here.
Further information about the funeral will be posted at the secretariat of the department DE.
